The State Research Centre for Optics and Material Sciences (OPTIMAS) invites applications for funded Ph.D. positions supported by the Carl Zeiss Foundation. The whole program consists of eight interdisciplinary research projects. Each of the eight projects will employ two doctoral candidates, one in each of the two partner research groups. PhD Scholarships available for October 2010

The School of Psychology is offering up to 10 University and Research Council funded research studentships for students wishing to start a research degree in October.  The studentships pay the tuition fee and a maintenance allowance currently £13,290 per annum.  Home and international students are eligible to be considered for these studentships. This includes students without a degree in psychology but with a degree that equips them with relevant skills in computer science, engineering, physics, medicine or biology. Tuition fees for overseas applicants will be paid at the home tuition fee rate.
