Research Postgraduate Scholarships at Southern Cross University
Scholarship Description
Applications are invited from highly motivated graduates for full-time study at Southern Cross University towards Masters by thesis and PhD degrees. Southern Cross University comprises campuses at Lismore, Coffs Harbour and Tweed Gold Coast. Australian and New Zealand citizens and those who have Permanent Resident Status may apply for Australian Postgraduate Awards (APA, minimum non-taxable living allowance of $20,427 pa (2009 rate), travel and removal assistance, and certain other allowances. Overseas citizens may apply for an International Postgraduate Research Scholarship together with a Southern Cross University Postgraduate Research Scholarships [IPRS/SCUPRS]. An IPRS meets the cost of compulsory tuition fees and a SCUPRS carries a non-taxable living allowance of $20,000 p.a.

This scholarship is for one of the following fields of research: BIOLOGICAL SCIENCES, COMMERCE, MANAGEMENT, TOURISM AND SERVICES, EDUCATION, Environmental sciences, LAW, JUSTICE AND LAW ENFORCEMENT, MEDICAL AND HEALTH SCIENCES or SOCIAL SCIENCES, HUMANITIES AND ARTS – GENERAL.
